Worship Service

services_worshipSUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE (11:00 – 12:00)
This is a time for worshipping God and offering our prayers as a fellowship of believers.

Near the beginning of the hour we take a few minutes to greet each other and make our visitors welcome. You are encouraged to introduce yourself to others during this time and fill out a visitor’s information card.

The United Methodist Church has an “open table,” which means that anyone who wants to participate in the sacrament of communion may do so.

OUR CHILDREN IN WORSHIP

Children occupy a special place in our church and in our worship service. Often they help with worship through the children’s choir and the Krystal Bells choir, as well as serving as acolytes.

We provide a children’s bulletin for preschoolers and elementary age children. The following opportunities, all of which are optional, are available to the children to help them grow in faith:

Children’s Time:
This is a short session during the worship service when young children are invited to come to the front of the sanctuary for a short lesson.

Children’s Church:
A special program is offered for children during a portion of the 11 a.m. hour. Children will be invited when it’s time for them to go downstairs with their leaders. They remain in the classroom until picked up by parents.

Infant/Toddler Nursery:
Kingswood provides a nursery with adult supervision. If you prefer to leave your child in the nursery during the worship service, an usher can direct you to the appropriate nursery.
