School (9:45 - 10:45)
Classes are available for all ages, children, youth, and adults. Adults
may choose from a variety of study topics.
Worship
Hour (11:00 - 12:00)
This is a time for worshipping God, and offering our prayers as a
fellowship of believers.

Members of
the laity assist the minister in
conducting the service, reading Scriptures, leading children's time, and
leading prayers.

Near the
beginning of the hour we take a few
minutes to greet each
other and make our visitors welcome. You are encouraged to introduce
yourself to others during this time.

The
United Methodist Church has an "open table," which means that
anyone, including children, who want to participate in the sacrament of
communion may do so.

Our
Children:
Children occupy a special place in our
service. Often they help with
worship through the children's choir and the Krystal Bells choir. The
following elements, all of which are optional, are available to the
children:

Children's
Time:
This is a short session during the worship
service when young children
are invited to come to the front of the sanctuary for a short lesson.
Children's
Church:
A special program is offered for children
ages four and five during a
portion of the 11 a.m. hour. Children will be invited when it's time
for them to go downstairs with their leaders. They remain in the
classroom until picked up by parents.
Toddler
and Infant Nurseries:
Kingswood provides nurseries equipped
with adult supervision. If
you prefer to leave your child in the nursery during the worship
service, an usher can direct you to the appropriate nursery.
